Athletic Field and Sports Turf Care
Maintenance programs for athletic fields and recreation areas: mowing, aeration, overseeding, fertility and weed control matched to the sport and use.
Sports turf is the hardest-working grass in the landscape. Football, soccer, baseball and general recreation tear up the surface, compact the soil and wear out the same high-traffic zones again and again. Schools, parks departments, churches and clubs in the Nashville area need fields that are playable, even and safe, often with limited budgets and tight calendars. Good field care is not just mowing. It is a plan built around the sport, the grass type, the season and the amount of use.
We build field programs that combine mowing at the right height for the sport, regular aeration and overseeding of wear areas, a fertility plan based on soil tests, weed control that protects turf density and drainage checks so low spots do not turn into rainout zones. For bermuda fields, programs run from late spring through summer growth, while fescue and ryegrass fields lean on fall and spring work. We note wear patterns, recommend rest or rotation and can handle line marking, infield care and bed cleanup around the complex when requested.

Mowing heights and programs reflect the sport, grass type and use level.
Wear zones renewed
Aeration and overseeding target goalmouths, sidelines and high-traffic areas.
Soil-based fertility
Soil tests guide feeding so the budget goes where the field needs it.
Drainage and safety
Low spots, ruts and hard areas are flagged before they become safety issues.
