Commercial Mulching and Bed Maintenance
Mulch installation, bed edging, weeding and plant care that keep commercial landscape beds crisp, healthy and free of weeds.
Beds are the picture frame of a commercial property. Fresh, evenly spread mulch and crisp edges make plants look intentional, suppress weeds and hold moisture, while thin, faded or piled mulch makes even good plants look neglected. Beds also take constant abuse from foot traffic, snow shovels, salt spray and mowers. In Nashville, a mulch layer breaks down over a season or two, and the right depth and material matter, since too little lets weeds in and too much smothers roots and encourages rot at the base of shrubs and trees.
We keep beds on a maintenance cycle that fits the property. That includes hand weeding or treated weed control, spade-cut or machine edging, thinning and refreshing mulch at a consistent depth, pulling mulch back from trunks, pruning spent growth and replacing plants that did not make it. Mulch is delivered in bulk and spread by crew or by blower on large sites, with a color and material chosen to suit the building. The result is a property that looks maintained every day, not just on mulch week.

Mulching and Beds FAQ
How often should beds be mulched?
Most commercial beds need a full refresh every one to two years and light top-ups in between.
How deep should mulch be?
Two to three inches is typical. More can harm plants and less lets weeds through.
Can you match a color or material?
Yes. We can supply hardwood, bark, pine or stone to suit the property.
Do you remove old mulch?
We thin heavy buildup and remove it if it is more than a few inches deep.
Will mulching cause weed problems?
No. Fresh mulch over properly cleaned beds reduces weeds.
