Questions

Commercial landscaping questions, answered plainly.

About HOA programs, maintenance contracts, pricing, seasons, water, trees and snow.

Getting started

Is the proposal really free?

Yes. The site walk and the written proposal are free and come with no obligation. You approve a written scope and price before any work begins.

What areas do you serve?

Nashville and communities across Middle Tennessee, including Franklin, Brentwood, Murfreesboro, Hendersonville, Mt. Juliet and more. See the service areas page for the full list.

Who do you work for?

We work only on commercial and community properties: HOAs, apartment communities, offices, retail centers, medical campuses, schools, churches, hotels, industrial parks and public spaces.

What services do you offer?

Grounds maintenance, HOA programs, landscape design and renovation, hardscape and amenities, irrigation and drainage, trees, snow and seasonal work, and proposals and audits.

HOAs and communities

Can you work with our management company?

Yes. We coordinate with the property manager on scope, schedules, invoicing and resident requests.

Can you present to our board?

Yes. We can present a proposal, walk through options and answer questions at a board meeting.

Do you maintain ponds, trails and entrances?

Yes. Entrances, ponds and basins, trails, amenity areas and common lawns can all be part of one program.

Can you help us change contractors?

Yes. We run a property audit, help write a clear scope and plan a start date so there is no service gap.

Contracts and pricing

Is pricing fixed or per visit?

Either. Many managers prefer a fixed monthly amount with extras priced separately, and we are happy to itemize any way that helps your board.

How do I compare bids?

Ask every bidder to price the same written scope. Our scope checklist and bid scorecard help you compare areas, frequencies, extras and communication.

Do you provide records?

Yes. Visit logs, photos and monthly summaries are available so managers can show boards and owners what was done.

Maintenance and seasons

How often should commercial lawns be mowed?

Weekly during active growth for most properties, with fewer visits in summer stress or dormancy depending on grass type.

When should we overseed and aerate?

Early fall is the best time for fescue in Middle Tennessee, and late spring is best for bermuda and zoysia.

Can you handle seasonal color and mulch?

Yes. Seasonal color rotations, fresh mulch and bed renovations are common parts of commercial programs.

Water, trees and snow

Do you test backflow devices and manage irrigation?

Yes. We handle irrigation startup, repair, smart controllers and backflow testing and repair as your water provider requires.

Do you manage trees and storm cleanup?

Yes. We offer pruning, removal, health care, hazard assessments and storm response.

Do you plow snow and manage ice?

Yes. We offer event-based snow plowing and ice management with triggers and priorities agreed in advance.
