Commercial Shrub and Hedge Pruning
Seasonal pruning, shaping and renewal of commercial shrubs and hedges, timed for plant health and clear sightlines and walkways.
Overgrown shrubs do more than look untidy. They hide signs and entrances, block sightlines at driveways and drive aisles, scrape vehicles and walls and create hiding places that make a property feel less safe at night. They also grow into windows, walkways and utility boxes, which turns a simple trim into a repair job. On commercial properties in the Nashville area, shrubs are often planted too close to buildings and walks, so regular pruning is the only way to keep them in scale without removing them.
We prune by plant type and season instead of taking one cut across the whole property. Spring bloomers are pruned after they flower, evergreens are shaped to hold their natural form, formal hedges are kept tight on a regular schedule, and overgrown plants are renewed in stages when a hard cut is justified. Cuttings are cleaned up and hauled away, sightlines near drive entrances and crosswalks are kept clear, and plants that have outgrown their spot are flagged for replacement rather than butchered into unnatural shapes.
