Commercial Mowing, Trimming and Edging
Scheduled mowing, string trimming and crisp edging for commercial lawns, medians and campuses, done safely around traffic, people and parked vehicles.
Mowing looks simple until you manage a large commercial property. Acres of turf, curbs and parking islands, signs and light poles to trim around, hundreds of feet of sidewalk edge and customers arriving at all hours all make timing and technique matter. A poor cut shows up fast, with scalped high spots, clumps of clippings on walks and ragged edges along curbs. In Nashville, tall fescue needs to be cut high and often in spring, backed off during summer stress and cut with sharp blades so the turf stays healthy and dense.
Our commercial mowing programs use the right equipment for each space, from large-deck mowers on open lawns to walk-behinds for tight islands and slopes. We set cutting heights by turf type and season, stripe or alternate patterns to avoid ruts, trim around every obstacle and edge walks and curbs so the property looks finished. Clippings are blown off hard surfaces, safety is managed around vehicles and pedestrians and visits are scheduled to minimize disruption to tenants, with crews working early or after hours when the site calls for it.

Mowing and Edging FAQ
How often should commercial lawns be mowed?
Weekly during active growth, with fewer visits in summer stress or dormancy depending on grass type.
Do you mow in the rain?
We avoid cutting saturated turf when possible because it damages the lawn and leaves clumps, and we make up the visit quickly.
Can you work early or after hours?
Yes. We can schedule around business hours when noise or traffic is a concern.
What about slopes and retention areas?
We use equipment and methods that are safe on slopes and flag spots that need a different approach.
Do you bag clippings?
Clippings are normally mulched back into the turf and blown off hard surfaces, with bagging available where needed.
