Commercial Hardscape Design and Installation
Plazas, walks, walls, seating and site features designed and built together with the planting around them for offices, communities and retail.
Hardscape is the structure of an outdoor space. Pavers, stone, walls, steps and seating decide how people move through a property, where they gather and how the whole site photographs. For HOAs, multifamily properties and businesses, a good hardscape upgrade can turn dead space into an amenity: a courtyard for tenants, a plaza for a restaurant, a seating wall at an entrance or a walkway that finally connects the parking lot to the door. In Nashville, where clay soils and heavy rain punish poorly built bases, the quality of what goes under the surface decides how long the work lasts.
We design and build commercial hardscape as a complete system. We start with traffic and use, then select materials that fit the architecture and the budget, such as concrete pavers, natural stone, brick or stamped surfaces. Excavation, compacted base, drainage and edge restraint are done to commercial standards, and plantings, lighting and irrigation are coordinated so that nothing is cut up later. Accessible routes, slip resistance and drainage get special attention, and we coordinate with engineers where walls, grading or stormwater require their sign-off.
