Dog Parks and Pet Areas
Fenced dog parks and pet relief areas for apartment communities, HOAs and offices, with durable surfaces, drainage, shade and waste stations.
Pet-friendly is now a basic expectation for apartment communities, HOAs and many workplaces, and a safe, clean place for dogs to run is a strong selling point. It is also a constant source of complaints when done poorly. Muddy, smelly and torn-up grass, broken fencing, no shade, no water and overflowing waste stations make a pet area a liability instead of an amenity. In the Nashville area, red clay and heavy rain make bad drainage the main reason dog parks fail, turning a lawn into a mud pit within weeks.
We design pet areas around drainage and durability. That includes a fenced enclosure with double-gated entry, a surface suited to use, such as pea gravel, crusher fines, stable turf or artificial turf over a drained base, shade trees or structures, benches, a water station and waste bag stations. Small and large dog areas can be separated, and agility pieces are optional. We also plan maintenance, including regular raking or rinsing, waste station refills and surface refresh, and offer service plans so the park stays clean and the board or manager is not chasing complaints.

Dog Parks FAQ

Crusher fines, pea gravel or artificial turf over a drained base handle wear better than natural grass.
How do you control odor?
Proper drainage, regular rinsing or raking and prompt waste removal are the keys.

Yes. Dual enclosures with separate gates are common.
Do you maintain the park?
Yes. We offer service plans for cleaning, refilling stations and surface refresh.
